PMS trim nozzles and tail cutter nozzles ensure safe cutting of the paper web before the press section. By their high jet quality, a safe and regular cut is obtained and fiber mist is avoided. This leads to best results and eliminates cost-intensive sheet breaks.

Today the best cutting performance is obtained with PMS ruby nozzles on paper machines worldwide. PMS supplies single jet nozzles, double jet nozzles and triple jet nozzles.

Standard PMS nozzles have metric threads and are equipped with O-rings for sealing - to avoid nozzle plugging no sealing tape should be used on trim nozzles. Special types are available.

PMS edge trimming nozzles may be delivered in plain 316 TI stainless steel or in stainless steel with an anti-stick coating. SafeJet nozzles have beveled tips in order to avoid possible water drops to clash with the nozzle jet.
